SAN JOSE, CA, UNITED STATES, August 17, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Rosendin Electric, Inc. (Rosendin), the nation's largest employee-owned electrical contractor, raised more than $260,000 to support active-duty military, veterans, and their families at the 2026 Annual Rosendin Golf Classic at Monarch Beach Golf Links in Dana Point, California. More than 180 construction professionals united at the sold-out event on May 21 to show support for the Navy SEAL Foundation (NSF) and the people they serve.

Rosendin’s fundraiser started with a parachute team landing at the oceanfront golf course, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and a Color Guard presentation by the American Legion Newport Harbor Post 291. Following a day of golf, auctions, and dinner, Captain Rich Phillips talked about his experience being rescued by the U.S. Navy SEALs in 2009 after his ship, the MV Maersk Alabama, was hijacked by Somali pirates. His story demonstrated the courage and readiness of the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) community and why this support matters.

"Rosendin continues to set the standard for what true partnership looks like. Their unwavering commitment to the Navy SEAL Foundation extends far beyond a single event, and year after year they demonstrate an extraordinary dedication to the warriors, veterans, and families we are honored to serve,” said Robin King, NSF CEO. “We are incredibly grateful for their leadership, generosity, and steadfast support. Together, we are creating a lasting impact for the Naval Special Warfare community, and we are grateful for Rosendin's continued commitment to our mission."

Rosendin’s West Coast Golf Classic traces its roots to 2016, when David Lincoln worked with a team of volunteers on the first fundraiser. Over the past decade, they’ve generated more than $4 million for the NSF. That inspired the launch of the East Coast Golf Classic in 2025 and again this September 2026 at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm in Maryland.

"For more than a decade, construction industry professionals from across the country have come together to show the Naval Special Warfare community that we see them and we support them," said David Lincoln, Senior Vice President and NSF Ambassador, Rosendin. "Many of the men and women who join us on the course wore the uniform or love someone who did, and every dollar they raise carries a real commitment to the strength, the families, and the future of those who serve."

Rosendin's commitment to military members and their families is rooted in its founding story. Moses Rosendin, a World War I Navy Veteran, established the company in 1919 and supported WWII efforts by taking on shipyard contracts. Today, Rosendin works with nonprofit organizations like Overwatch to help transition veterans from every branch of the U.S. military to civilian careers in the electrical trades, and partners with the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) to create career pathways for workers at all skill levels.

Rosendin thanks all its sponsors, including Sunbelt Rentals, Champion Fiberglass, Distran Packaged Substations, NECA Los Angeles and IBEW Local 11, United Rentals, Hubbell, ISAT, JCS Supply Incorporated, Legrand, Main Electric Supply, Performance Lighting Systems, and Milwaukee Tool, among others. The live auction featured premium offerings from Emerald Spear Tequila, Staccato, Sanctuary, and the Madison Double R fly fishing lodge.

Rosendin’s East Coast Golf Classic returns September 21 at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm in Maryland. To sponsor or donate auction items, contact David Lincoln at dlincoln@rosendin.com or Phil Baroody, pbaroody@rosendin.com.
